A Juneteenth Message from Susan Taylor

This month we commemorate Juneteenth, and the belated emancipation it brought to our people enslaved in Texas, two years after the passage of the Emancipation Proclamation.

We honor those who continued to push for liberation, albeit delayed, until all were free. In celebration of them, and our ancestors, we herald their resilience, and draw from them the inspiration to keep pushing until all are released from the bondage of generational poverty.
